Empty Space is the sixth poetry collection by Snezhana Stojchevska, stylistically and thematically building upon her previous work. The collection comprises three distinct sections that function as three books in one, representing three different worlds separated by an empty space. The first section, titled "In the Arena of Life," speaks of loss, pain, and how to move forward. The second, "A Message to Myself," is a form of introspection—a unique collage of stories and emotions. Its primary focus is the transience of time and confronting the personal transformations we undergo. The third section, "Perfect Reality," consists of snapshots of daily life that celebrate the simplicity and beauty of fulfilled love. At times, the poems hint at humor and self-irony; some resemble anecdotes, while others are written with childlike sincerity. With few words, Stojchevska masterfully conveys a story, an image, and an emotion. Her poetic voice remains distinctive, lyrical, and gentle, yet distinctly urban and realistic.
