Emil Niami

Emil Niami holds a PhD in Philological Sciences. He graduated in Russian Language and Literature and American Studies from the "Blaze Koneski" Faculty of Philology in Skopje. He has taught Macedonian language at the Lomonosov Moscow State University.

He is the author of the first dictionaries of paronyms (2020), antonyms (2021), and homonyms (2022) in the Macedonian language, as well as several important monographs and papers in the fields of lexicography, lexicology, sociolinguistics, and traductology. He is the editor-in-chief of the Dictionary of Media Literacy and has translated over 30 works. In 2021, he received the November 13 Award for Science.
