WHAT SHOULD REGIONAL LITERATURE BE FAMOUS FOR?
On October 2, at 21:00, in theYouth Cultural Center, cinema "Frosina", come to a conversation with the authors Drago Glamuzina (Croatia) - author of "The Second Law of Thermodynamics" and Branko Rosić (Serbia) - author of "The Arrival of the matador."
The writer and editor at one of the largest publishing houses in Croatia ("VBZ"), Drago Glamuzina, and the writer and journalist who publishes at the largest publishing house from Serbia ("Laguna"), Branko Rosic, sit at the same table.
In his books, Rosić is strongly interested in the regional milieu, and in them all the anomalies of today's Balkan societies are directly pointed out - politics, show business, journalism, marketing, art. Drago Glamuzina, on the other hand, is an author who has marked Croatian literature in the last twenty years, both with his poetry and his prose, as evidenced by the series of awards in the author's "regal". Through his often "carver" aesthetic of disciplined and passionate storytelling, he deals with hidden inner worlds that erupt in the ecstasy of shocking and painful revelation. Do these powerful authorial approaches have a common focus? And how to read it in the context of regional literature?
The event will be moderated by Aleksandar Madjarovski - The Reader and Ivan Šopov.
