Katerina Šekutkovska
Katerina Shekutkovska is the editor-in-chief and managing editor of Ilika Publishing and a translator from German into Macedonian. She studied German language and literature at the Faculty of Philology in Skopje and later completed a master’s degree in German literature and publishing in Bamberg, Germany.
In addition to translating works by several contemporary German-language authors, including Lukas Bärfuss, Marion Poschmann, Jonas Lüscher, Caren Jeß, and others, her work as an editor at Ilika also involves creating and moderating events and content exploring a range of topics in the field of literature. Her particular areas of focus include women’s writing and feminism, ecological theory and fiction, as well as contemporary engaged literature by authors from North Macedonia and abroad.
