Ivana Trajanoska

Ivana Trajanoska is a writer, interdisciplinary researcher, translator, and Professor of English Studies at University American College Skopje, North Macedonia. She serves as President of the Forum of the International Association of Word and Music Studies (WMA), Graz. She is the author of the novels Postcards (2008), Desa (2021), and Jeta (2026).

The manuscript of her second novel, Desa, received the Silver Pegasus Award for Best Unpublished Novel in 2020 and was a finalist for the Novel of the Year Award by "Slavko Janevski" Foundation in 2021. Desa has since been translated into Albanian by Milena Selimi (Harpa, Tirana, 2023) and into English by Maja Trajanoska (Dess, Ars Lamina, Skopje, 2026).
