Frosina Parmakovska

Frosina Parmakovska is a writer with a rich body of novelistic work.

She graduated in General and Comparative Literature and holds an MA from the Institute of Macedonian Literature. A member of the Macedonian Writers’ Association since 2018, she regularly participates in domestic and international literary events. Her works are translated into Serbian, Bulgarian, Ukrainian, and German.

She authored the novels Writing the Lost Spheres (2013), The Sour Cherry Chronicle (2014), Countdown (2017), On the Way Back (2020), I Can Still Do Something (2023), and Diana the (B)lamed (2025) and the picture books Ecology and Dodo, the Alien, and the Cat.

Awards: Novel of the Year (2017), MAI Most Successful Author (2018), Racin Award (2024), and the Pegasus Award (2025).
