Davor Stojanovski (1987) is a writer, poet, translator and musician. He holds a master's degree in Macedonian literature. He has worked as a copywriter and editor. He has translated works of several authors from Slovenian language, including Kajetan Kovič, Goran Vojnović, Drago Jančar, Anja Mugerli, etc. His second novel "Ash Collectors" won the "Utrinski Vesnik" Novel of the Year award for 2016. The third novel "Consolation for the Naked" was nominated for the European Union Literature Prize for 2020. His work is featured in several domestic and foreign anthologies and literary magazines. He is a former member of the band Foolish Green. He lives in the bilingual (German-Slovenian) area of Carinthia/Koroška in Austria.
