Description:

The sixth edition of the Festival of European Literature "BookStar" / "Literary Stars" was extraordinary in every sense, ie. non-standard edition.

Through various events and activities, it covered the whole month of October 2020, instead of covering a few days. Under the slogan "BOOKSTAR-20 vs. COVID-19", the festival went beyond the standard framework of visiting authors and literary promotions and tried to give literature and art a new dimension and way of perception. The entire crisis with the corona-virus pandemic and the omission of support from the institutions did not prevent the idea of the Festival to exist and survive, fighting against all prejudices and promoting quality content for all who love good literature.

October 1st, 2020 - Promotion of the book "THERE" by Milčo Mančevski and photo exhibition

October 5th, 2020 - Promotion of the book "Chardonnay and Spaghetti Carbonara" by Marta Dimitrov

October 13th, 2020 - Meeting with the author and book signing with Milčo Mančevski

October 15th, 2020 - Opening of the Story Box / STORY-BOX

October 19th, 2020 - Screening of an online interview with Yolanda Castaño

October 19th, 2020 - Screening of an online interview with Sofia Lundberg

October 20th, 2020 - Screening of an online interview with Petar Matovic

October 20th, 2020 - Literary discussion on "literature versus the pandemic" (occasion: republishing of the book "Sanitary Enigma" by Jasna Koteska). Participants: Jasna Koteska, Vesna Mojsova-Čepiševska, Duško Krstevski, Aleksandar Madjarovski, Dijana Petrova. Moderator: Kristina Velevska.
