Vladimir Martinovski (1974) is a poet, storyteller, essayist, theoretician, literary translator and the Dean of the Faculty of Philology "Blaže Koneski". He works as a full-time professor in the subject of Comparative Poetics at the Department of General and Comparative Literature. He received his doctorate at the University of Paris III – New Sorbonne. He is the author of numerous literary-theoretical studies, books of poetry, haibuns, books of short stories, as well as two poetry collections for children. His poetry has been published in twenty languages. He is the winner of several literary awards, including: "Nova Makedonija" (2009), "Miladinovci Brothers" (2010), "Dimitar Mitrev" (2013) etc.
