On October 4th, at 7:00 p.m., in the Youth Cultural Center, cinema "Frosina", come to a conversation with authors Lucie Faulerová (Czech Republic) - author of "Girl Death" and Anja Mugerli (Slovenia) - author of "Bee Family" .
A conversation with two women writers who belong to almost the same generation and have a similar academic background.
Anja Mugerli was born in 1984 and graduated in Slavic Studies, and Lucie Faulerová was born in 1989 and graduated in Bohemian Studies. The two published books, the collection of short stories "The Bee Family" by Mugerli and "The Death Girl" by Lucie Faulerová have won the European Union Prize for Literature.
Faulerová's novel deals with one of the most taboo and complex topics of today, which is rarely talked about out loud, openly and without prejudice – suicide, while the central theme of all seven short stories in Mugerli's book is the family.
What subtly unites these two books are the existential themes related to family relationships, maturation, personal freedom and – the question of how to reach the center of life.
The event will be moderated by Aleksandar Madjarovski and Ana Golejška Dјikova.
