Milan Damjanovski (1977) is a translator and university professor. He is an assistant professor of literature at the Department of English Language and Literature at the Faculty of Philology "Blaže Koneski". He holds a PhD in English literature. He also works as a freelance translator and literary translator. He translated into English works by prominent contemporary Macedonian writers, such as Vladimir Martinovski, Blaže Minevski and Svetlana Hristova Jocić. He has translated for organizations such as the Struga Poetry Evenings and the Macedonian PEN-Review. His translation of the novel "The Sign" by Blaže Minevski was nominated for the prestigious Dublin Impact Award for 2013. Damjanoski is also the editor of “Blesok Fiction”. For the "Blesok" publishing house, he published a book of aphorisms "Status of our time".
