Marilyn Turki is writing a novel. Since her childhood, she has been fascinated by romantic encounters and is obsessed with the idea of a partner. While writing the novel, she revisits parts of her past, diving into the memories of her intimate and explicit love life. The novel is in three parts. The first takes place between the ages of six and eight, the second as a young girl, and the third "here and now".
Both the language and the style are extremely turbulent and reveal the freedoms we have today. A search for love, for identities, meeting a higher power, facing death. All this reveals the charisma of the author, her very feminine description of things, with unusual honesty.
"Boneless" won the European Prize for Literature in 2013.
