Iskra Dimkovska was born in 1982 in Skopje. In 2006, he graduated from the "Blaže Koneski" Faculty of Philology, acquiring the title of philologist in Italian language and literature and German language and literature. In the past years, she has been the editor of the "Skaznuvalka" publishing house. From Italian to Macedonian she translated "The Moon and the Fires" by Cesare Pavese (Antolog, 2014), "Woman" by Sibilla Alleramo, (Sigmapress, 2015), "All are good" by Paolo Sorrentino (Antolog, 2021), "Enough" to end the day" by Antonella Latanzi (Sigmapress, 2022), "The distance between me and the cherry tree" (Antolog, 2024). She loves ice cream, riding her bike and reading bedtime stories to Iva and Lea.
