Biljana Tudjarovska-Kjupeva (1975, Resen). She graduated from the Department of General and Comparative Literature at the Faculty of Philology "Blazhe Koneski" at UKIM in Skopje. She continued her education with postgraduate studies at the Faculty of Philology, in the field of Literary Science, where she completed her master’s thesis on the topic "Macedonian Literature in the Context of Publishing Activities in the Republic of Macedonia (1991-2007)." In 2013, at the same faculty, she defended her doctoral dissertation on "Macedonian Literature in the Context of Contemporary Cultural Industries (Publishing Activities 1991-2011)." From 2000 to 2002, Biljana Tudjarovska-Kjupeva worked as an assistant on the interdisciplinary scientific research project for the development of higher education (HESP). She has led several projects in the field of literary reception, classical and electronic publishing, as well as several international publishing projects. Since 2002, she has been working at the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of North Macedonia as the Head of the Publishing Sector (Book Sector), where she developed and established the model for translating Macedonian literature into foreign languages through the Competition for Funding Translations by Foreign Publishers of Representative and Quality Works of Macedonian Literature into Foreign Languages. With her experience in the field of publishing, she is involved in numerous projects and processes in publishing in the Republic of North Macedonia. Her activities have significantly contributed to the inclusion of our country in major international publishing organizations in Europe, such as TRADUKI, the Forum of Slavic Cultures, and others.
