“BookStar” is the first festival of European literature in the region, organized by the publishing house Antolog with the support of several cultural operators. Since its launch in 2015, the festival has been held every autumn, featuring guest appearances by international and local authors, the European Literature Fair, conversations, book promotions, debates, film screenings, music performances, exhibitions, and other cultural events.

“BookStar” interprets cultural and social change through literature. It is a socially engaged festival that seeks to spark public interest by offering content that helps us better understand the challenges facing literature and society today.

The festival has always brought authors and works that question established narratives, ideas, prejudices, and the status quo. For this reason, “BookStar” is more than an event – it is an inspiration for those who believe that the texts of today can drive change, offering visions of a world where words are no longer just letters pressed on paper but a call to awakening.

Those who wish to disrupt the ordinary and embrace their own uniqueness are encouraged to ask questions, challenge assumptions, suggest changes, and continue writing the stories that shape our world.

Each year, “BookStar” leaves a mark on you, reminding you to re-examine, to inquire, to “disturb” and “provoke,” and to keep alive the flame of curiosity.

Accept the duel with unconventional stories, where the quiet rebellion of authors meets those unafraid to change established worldviews. Join us, and step into European literature as a world of opportunities and diversity.
