Marente de Moor (1972) is a Dutch writer. She studied Slavic languages. In the 1990s she lived in Russia, writing for Dutch and Russian media. She debuted with an author's work in 2007. Since 2009, she has been working as a columnist in a political magazine. She has published three novels, as well as books of columns and short stories. The novel "The Dutch Maiden" has been translated into 10 languages.
