BARDHËZI (BLACK AND WHITE)
Translation: Sotir Risto

The collection of short stories "Bardhëzi" s a conceptual collection divided into two parts, pre-war experiences and post-war disintegration. It is a deep and avant-garde rebellion against war, regardless of the sides, hostilities and arguments.

In the first part of the stories, the book focuses on the drama and crisis of the Albanian people. The stories are written in a dynamic between infantile and adult perspective. In addition, they follow people in military mechanism and force, with victims turning into warring characters, assuming the expression and mentality of the aggressor.

The stories in the second part of the book are in a way a rebellion against the remnants of war left in a society, even though it lives in its own freedom. The stories from this second part are remnants in themselves, left by the tragedy that can not be overcome.

Although very controversial and provocative, the book, "Bardhëzi" in Albanian received praise in Kosovo and Albania (the famous critic of Albania, Agim Baqi was one of the critics who acknowledged the achievements of the book!).
