Vesna Moǰsova-Čepiševska (1967, Skopje). She graduated (1989), received her master's degree (1996) and her doctorate (2002) from the Faculty of Philology "Blaže Koneski" at the University "Sts. Cyril and Methodius" in Skopje. Immediately after graduating, in 1990, she was employed at the Faculty, where she has spent her entire working life to date, from assistant to resident professor. She teaches multiple subjects in the field of contemporary Macedonian literature, subjects in the field of children's literature, as well as subjects in the field of Macedonian culture. Since 2012, she has been a resident professor at the Faculty of Philology "Blaže Koneski" at UKIM, where she has also held the position of Vice-Dean for Teaching (2004 – 2008). She is currently co-director of the Third Cycle of Studies in Macedonian Studies at the Doctoral School at UKIM. Since 2002, she has also worked as a lecturer in Macedonian literature and language at the International Seminar for Macedonian Language, Literature and Culture in Ohrid. From 2019 to 2023, she is the director there. She is the author of ten monographic publications (scientific books), nine of which cover the topic of contemporary Macedonian literature, while one is on children's literature. She is the editor of eleven anthologies, five of which have been published outside Macedonia, and she is also the author of the textbook on Macedonian literature for foreigners "Embroidery" (published by UKIM, 2019 - first edition and 2022 - second revised and supplemented edition). She is also one of the authors of the collective monograph "Macedonian Poetics and Stylistics" of the Commission on Stylistics at the International Slavic Committee. She is the recipient of several awards, including the "Dimitar Mitrev" awards for best book reviews and essays (for 2015) from the Writers' Association of Macedonia and the "13 November" award from the City of Skopje (in 2022).
