Plamen Totev (1964) is a Bulgarian literary critic and researcher, publisher and author. He graduated in Bulgarian philology at Sofia University "St. Clement of Ohrid". He is the author of three books in the field of the history of literature, twenty textbooks and teaching aids in Bulgarian language and literature, and has compiled anthologies of world and Bulgarian classical poetry. He is a member of the Society of Bulgarian Writers. He was involved as an expert in the commission for the "Culture" program during the Bulgarian Presidency of the European Union (2018) in the areas of cultural-historical heritage, folklore and literature, and was an expert (2018-2021) in the National Fund "Culture" under the Ministry for culture. He is the owner of the publishing house "Perseus" from Sofia, which from 2004 until today has grown into one of the most active publishers in Bulgaria. Among other things, he has so far published 55 books by 34 Macedonian authors.
