Since last year's "BookStar", the beginning of the festival has been marked with the powerful thoughts and words of a renowned Macedonian writer. Because festivals exist to make the voice of writers heard.
The author who will address the Skopje audience this year is Lidija Dimkovska, who is not only current with her new novel but has always been a spokesperson against social anomalies.
And we will be honored with the presence of the Ambassador of the European Union David Geer, who will present the BookStar 2023 award to the writer Najat El Hachmi from Spain.
