Bla\u017ee Minevski<\/strong><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Bla\u017ee Minevski (1961) is a prose writer and playwright. He is the author of ten\nnovels. For the novel \u201eSight\u201d he received the \"Stale Popov\" and \"Novel of the Year\"\nawards, as well as the award from the City of Skopje - \"13th November\", and for the\nnovel \"Whistles\" - the \"Prose Masters\" award of the Macedonia Present Foundation.<\/em>.<\/p>\n

Minevski has also received the "Most Read Author" award, an award given by the\nNational Library "St. Kliment Ohridski" in Skopje.<\/p>\n

For the novel "If Some Feelings Are Born", dedicated to the love of Goce Delchev and\nJanka Kanevche, Minevski received the "Stale Popov" and "Racin's Recognition"\nawards for the second time.<\/p>\n

In addition to the novels published so far, Minevski has also published several books\nof short stories, including "The Introductory Sermon of the Academician Sisoe", "In\nthe Ox's Horn" and "The Dandelion Season", for which he received the prestigious\n"Racin's Recognition".<\/p>\n

His drama texts were in the repertoires of Macedonian professional theaters for\nyears, but they were also performed as premieres at Ohrid <\/em>and Skopje Summer Festivals,<\/em> and for the play "Mute Language" he received the MNT award for best\ndramatic text in 2001.<\/p>\n

The novels "Me, Tito and Mickey Mouse", \u201cSight\u201d and \u201cMamli\u2019s Net\u201dhave been\ntranslated and published in Serbian in Belgrade, and the novels "We Should Have\nTaken Pictures Before We Started Hating Eachother\u201d and "Memoirs of a Myrtle\nSpurge" have been translated and published in Bulgarian.<\/p>\n

The novel \u201cSight\u201d has been translated and published in English, Italian, Armenian,\nBulgarian, Slovenian, Arabic, Chinese and Polish.<\/p>\n

Bla\u017ee Minevski is represented in all anthologies of the Macedonian short prose\npublished in the last thirty years in Macedonia and abroad, and for his short stories,\ntranslated into more than twenty languages \u200b\u200b\u200b\u200baround the world, he is a\nmultiple winner of the \"Studentski zbor\", \"Nova Makedonija\", and \"\u017divko \u010cingo\"\nawards.<\/p>\n
